The ideal candidate will have experience in Labor and Delivery, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery setting, including assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and safety.
- Assist in evaluating unit and agency staff, and take corrective action when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse Licensure from an accredited Nursing Program.
- One or more years of recent Labor and Delivery/Newborn Nursery experience preferred.
- Certifications as indicated by the Steward Certification document.
