Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer - Enterprise Network Defense

Overview:

Cybersecurity Engineers play a critical role in safeguarding organizations against cyber threats. At ENS Solutions, LLC, we are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Cybersecurity Engineers responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise network defense capabilities.

Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.

Job Description:

We are looking for skilled Cybersecurity Engineers with a strong background in engineering design, development, and implementation of enterprise network defense solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in the utilization, configuration, and implementation of various cyber defense capabilities, including web content filters, email security, IDS/IPS, HBSS, SIEM, DNS security practices, advanced log analysis, network monitoring, network flow analysis, packet capture analysis, network proxies, firewalls, anti-virus capabilities, Linux/UNIX command line, and access control lists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise network defense solutions using industry-leading tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cybersecurity solutions across the organization.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security gaps and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Implement and maintain robust security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and awareness.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and trends in the cybersecurity landscape.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in technical roles, preferably in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
  • Experience with code management tools, such as Git, ClearCase, or Helix Core.
  • Knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and associated security requirements.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph exam.
  • DOD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND.
