Client Service Specialist - Ford Lincoln
Sewell is excited to announce an opening for a Client Service Specialist, dedicated to delivering exceptional service while addressing our clients' repair and maintenance requirements at the dealership. We seek a collaborative individual with outstanding interpersonal skills. This position will oversee the entire service journey for the client, while liaising with technicians, management, and the sales team, to guarantee the most effective, high-quality, and memorable experience.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:15 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. & alternating Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome each client in a timely and courteous manner consistently.
- Coordinate appointments & manage the client's vehicle service process through the dealership management system.
- Engage with service clients to ascertain the nature of the mechanical issue. Accurately interpret and address client statements.
- Secure client approval before commencing repairs; discuss cost estimates and approximate completion times.
- Gather client and vehicle information. Ensure payment methods are secured.
- Conduct test drives with clients if there are uncertainties regarding the issue.
- Provide estimates for labor and parts. If costs are indeterminate, leave open and follow up with the client later for approval.
- Obtain the client's signature on the Repair Order.
- Schedule a follow-up time with the client to discuss their vehicle's status.
- Collect accurate client contact information.
- Monitor the progress of each Repair Order with the assigned technician.
- Inform clients by phone about any changes in estimates or promised completion times.
- Document changes on the Repair Order in an approved manner.
- Deliver vehicles to clients and address any inquiries.
- Review completed work and clarify charges or coverage.
- Advise clients on future maintenance or repair needs.
- Ensure all client needs are met; inquire if there is anything else that can be addressed.
- Explain the survey they will receive and its significance.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings.
To excel in this role, the individual must effectively perform each job responsibility, possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, complete a drug screening, undergo a background check, and fulfill all government I-9 requirements. A combination of education, experience, and training will be considered.
