Job Summary:

Pactiv Evergreen is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Shift Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the night shift operations, ensuring maximum productivity and quality while minimizing costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct all activities related to the night shift to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Supervise a team of 80+ employees and provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Coordinate with the scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are met and adjust production plans as needed.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Ensure all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basis and support and improve upon quality initiatives designed to meet plant goals.
  • Implement and review safety programs to ensure a safe working environment and revise as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work well in group situations and deal effectively with conflict in a mature and consistent manner.
  • Good computer skills, with experience in SAP preferred.
