As a Construction Project Leader, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle of intricate construction endeavors, ranging from $250,000 to $25 million. You will work collaboratively with architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and project owners to ensure flawless execution of all phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Scheduling & Planning: Formulate and execute detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or equivalent, ensuring alignment with contractual deadlines and optimal resource distribution based on team capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary communication conduit among all project stakeholders, including field personnel, suppliers, clients, subcontractors, and office teams, promoting collaboration and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Performance Management: Establish and maintain effective performance management systems for team members, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with quality benchmarks and budgetary constraints.
  • Financial Oversight: Diligently manage project finances, employing cost-tracking software such as Viewpoint Vista to monitor spending, identify discrepancies, and take corrective measures as necessary.
  • Billing & Financial Reporting: Review monthly job cost reports, work closely with the Business Manager to prepare precise monthly billing applications, and ensure timely invoicing to clients.
  • Client Relationship Development: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with clients through proactive engagement, effective management of expectations, and a steadfast commitment to project objectives.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 7 years of demonstrated experience in managing complex construction projects from initial planning through to completion.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction techniques, project management methodologies, and financial control practices.
  • Expertise in scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred) and job costing tools (Viewpoint Vista is advantageous).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
