Job Overview:
This dynamic position at WSU Tech involves a full-time commitment where you will coordinate, plan, and deliver classroom instruction and related activities within the Information Technology program. As an IT Essentials Instructor, you will also provide technical assistance to students and staff. Your responsibilities will include teaching, academic planning, and engaging in various professional activities.
Your daily responsibilities will encompass:
- Creating course syllabi and ensuring the quality of the curriculum
- Maintaining subject matter expertise and actively engaging students
- Collaborating with Deans to enhance educational offerings
- Conducting classes according to the approved schedule and syllabi
- Working with various certifications and leveraging teaching experience
- Exhibiting strong communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrating proficiency in essential software applications and the ability to work independently
- Meeting deadlines and performing efficiently under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Cisco's CCNA and/or CCNP are preferred. Experience in adult education is advantageous.
