LPN - Temporary Staff for Avamere Communities

We are seeking a temporary Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Avamere Communities in Eugene, Oregon. This is a short-term contract position with the possibility of continued work after the contract is complete.
Responsibilities- Complete required record keeping for admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and support personnel to plan daily services, programs, and activities.
- Prepare and administer medications, reviewing medication cards for completeness and accuracy.
- Review resident care plans for appropriate goals, problems, approaches, and revisions.
- Provide leadership to nursing personnel and make daily rounds to ensure staff is providing direct care in accordance with resident care plans.
- Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in Oregon.
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
- Competitive pay: $45/hour.
- Mileage reimbursement for commutes beyond 20 miles.
- 8 and 12 hour shifts, with assigned rotation and availability for day, evening, and night shifts.
