Become a vital member of our vibrant Import Forwarding team as a Junior Logistics Operations Specialist. In this role, you will manage a variety of tasks that include data management, shipment oversight, vendor interaction, and documentation control. Your contributions will be essential in facilitating seamless import processes by ensuring precise tracking data is recorded in our systems, liaising with vendors to guarantee timely deliveries, and efficiently managing all associated documentation and communications.

Key Competencies:

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of import/export shipping documentation
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for managing records and updating spreadsheets
  • Data entry proficiency
  • Experience in shipment tracking

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong communication abilities
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Customer service orientation

Employment Type:

This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with a duration of 6 months.

Work Environment:

This position is fully on-site. You will be part of a regional logistics center with a collaborative team of approximately 80 colleagues in the Import Forwarding department. The dress code is business casual, and the working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. A hybrid work option may be available after the initial month based on performance.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of data entry or office experience
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel
