Apex Therapeutic Services is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to provide school-based speech therapy services to students in the Garden City School District. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communication disorders and be able to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and address communication disorders in students, including language, articulation, fluency, voice/resonance, and swallowing difficulties.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' academic and social goals.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure seamless integration of speech therapy services into the classroom.
- Conduct regular progress monitoring and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress.
- Must be a registered/licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in New York state.
- Must have a TSSLD and Certificate of Clinical Competency.
- Must be able to travel to different locations within the Garden City School District.
The Speech Therapist will work in a dynamic and supportive environment with a team of experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality services to students.
