Internal Audit Specialist

As an Internal Audit Specialist at Truist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the completion and documentation of risk-based internal audit assurance activities.

You will interpret the results of audit work performed, identify internal control weaknesses, and make value-added recommendations to improve our business processes. Additionally, you will prepare for and lead effective client interviews, document interview results, and communicate audit issues to management and the engagement manager.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of audit principles, practices, and methodologies, including risk assessment and audit documentation. You will also need to possess excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

As a Risk Assurance Professional at Truist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in internal audit and risk management. You will work closely with our audit team to identify and assess risks, and develop recommendations to mitigate those risks. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including risk assessments, audit procedures, and compliance reviews.

Our Audit and Compliance Expert will be responsible for ensuring that our business processes and internal controls are operating effectively and efficiently. You will work closely with our audit team to identify and assess risks, and develop recommendations to mitigate those risks. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including risk assessments, audit procedures, and compliance reviews.
