Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Building and Land Technology. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance duties to ensure the upkeep and enhancement of our luxury community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Assist in completing work orders, including painting, drywall repair, cleaning, and general maintenance repairs.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular community inspections and maintenance tasks as requested by the Maintenance Manager.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the grounds, keeping common areas free of trash and debris.
  • Mechanical Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining all mechanical equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Recommendations: Recommend repairs or replacements of interior and exterior areas as needed.
  • Compliance: Understand and comply with Fair Housing laws and standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; trade and/or technical school training a plus.
  • Experience: 1+ year of HVAC experience and 1+ year of hands-on experience in painting, cleaning, plumbing, carpentry, or similar maintenance-related field.
  • Certifications: Fire Safety Manager Certification required; EPA, CPO, HVAC, and CFC certifications a plus.
  • Skills: Computer knowledge with the ability to generate work orders using a property management software system; ability to lift and work with heavy equipment.
  • License: Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and clean driving record required.
