As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care to our adolescent residents, ensuring their safety and well-being, and supporting the therapeutic milieu.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents while supporting the therapeutic milieu.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of residents' behavioral programs, providing care and close supervision, and documenting behavior.
  • Develop positive relationships with residents, implementing treatment plans, and providing crisis intervention as necessary.
  • Observe peer culture, recommend and implement solutions as needed, and participate in residents' group therapy.
  • Attend staff development training to meet facility and regulatory requirements, demonstrating thorough program knowledge.
  • Maintain professional relationships with members of all departments and direct care staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Higher level education in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related experience preferred.
  • One (1) year experience in a residential treatment or children's services program preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license.
