Position Overview

The Value Stream Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire value stream, which includes Assembly Lines 1-9, Sheet Metal, Copper, Electrical Box pre-assembly, and the Finished Goods Warehouse/Shipping areas. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning production capacity and managing direct headcount.
  • Facilitating associate training initiatives.
  • Ensuring adherence to 5S principles on the shop floor.
  • Implementing and supporting BPS Essentials 14Q Principles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in production/manufacturing or a related field, with 5 to 7 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in leading diverse, cross-functional teams to drive improvements.
  • Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, including Shainin, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of machining practices and engineering principles.
  • Exceptional skills in continuous improvement processes.
  • Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing principles, production systems, and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in international teams, demonstrating intercultural flexibility.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to coach and mentor associates.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in SAP.
  • Basic understanding of financial and business principles.
