Job Summary:

The Levy Company is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team. As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components of machinery and equipment following electrical code, manuals, specifications, schematics, and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret mechanical, architectural, and electrical drawings and code specifications to determine wiring layouts.
Troubleshoot, test, and repair various equipment and electrical systems.
Perform repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance to equipment and electrical systems.
Plan and coordinate work, determine equipment needs, and develop sequences of steps to ensure work completion.
Supervise and train apprentices and helpers.

Requirements:

A minimum of four years of electrical experience.
Journeyman electrician license issued by Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Valid Texas driver license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must provide own hand tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
Valid Texas commercial driver license.

Working Environment:

The work environment is primarily outdoor with constant exposure to noise, dust, fumes, noxious odors, gases, mechanical and electrical hazards, moving objects, sharp edges, and temperature extremes.

Physical Demands:

The job requires frequent operation of equipment with vibrating and moving parts, frequent and repeated hand and arm movement to manipulate tools, handles, and levers, frequent and repeated lifting from ground to various heights up to 50 pounds individually, and team lifting heavier items, frequent and repeated exerting of force up to 100 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods of time, occasional walking on uneven and / or unpaved terrain, frequent climbing steps, ladders, and in/out/onto vehicles, frequent and repeated bending, stooping, crawling, kneeling, reaching, and crouching, visual acuity to drive motor vehicles and mobile equipment, distinguish colors, and to read printed and electronic documents, hearing capacity to receive, perceive, and react to common driving and construction environment noises.
