About the Role

Framatome is seeking a highly skilled Inventory and Measurement System Analyst to join our team in Richland, WA. As a key member of our Nuclear Material Control and Accounting team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our nuclear material inventory tracking and measurement systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for assigned MC&A efforts within the U.S., including day-to-day operations and planned facility expansions.
  • Perform nuclear material inventory audits and lead an annual physical inventory of all material.
  • Conduct sampling studies to estimate nuclear material concentration variances.
  • Calculate inventory uncertainty based on inventory transactions, measurement systems used, and measurement uncertainties.
  • Track and report nuclear material receipts and shipments and perform Shipper Receiver Difference evaluations of nuclear material receipts.
  • Administer the facility's nuclear inventory database and coordinate software improvements.
  • Develop and maintain facility procedures that implement MC&A requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biological, Physical, or Applied Science, or advanced degree in a related field.
  • Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in a particular field of scientific specialization.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Applied statistics and mathematics related to data analysis.
  • SQL and general programming skills.
  • Degree in chemistry, physics, statistics, applied mathematics, or engineering.
