Job Title: Business Operations Leader

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join 3M as a Business Operations Leader, where you will play a critical role in driving business performance and growth. As a member of the Operating Committee, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's annual operating goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business and operational strategies to achieve short and long-term objectives.
  • Oversee cross-functional business planning, ensuring alignment of supply and demand forecasts and critical sales operations metrics.
  • Manage the operational aspects of service and paid training offerings to meet annual objectives.
  • Partner with the Strategy and Business Development Leader to operationalize the annual strategic plan and translate business strategy into annual operating objectives, KPIs, and functional metrics.
  • Lead operational mechanisms to achieve monthly division-level performance targets, including facilitating kaizen events for timely issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • 15 years of business management experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • 5 years of operational experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience leading large commercial organizations.
  • Background in manufacturing, logistics and supply chain, sales operations, or marketing operations.

Work Location:

This role is eligible for Work Your Way, which allows you to work remotely, on-site, or in a hybrid arrangement. Travel may be required up to 20% of the time.
