Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Physician Practices to lead our employed physician practices associated with Saint Michael's Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing overall administrative direction and support to our practices, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct administrative support and supervision to practice managers and office managers, ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed.
- Ensure physicians are properly credentialed for all managed care plans and that billing processes and procedures are in place to maximize revenue.
- Work with accounting staff to develop financial reports for each practice and review them with physicians to ensure alignment with our goals.
- Ensure the appropriate number and level of support staff are available to support practice operations in each location.
Requirements:
- College degree required, MBA or other graduate degree preferred.
- Seven to ten years' experience in managing physician practices, with supervisory experience of practice managers.
- Knowledge of physician billing processes and systems.
- Understanding of compliance issues affecting physician practice operations.
- Epic experience required.
- Revenue Cycle experience required.
