Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain public and employee restrooms and showers to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Inspect and clean glass surfaces in public and employee areas, including windows and mirrors.
  • Use designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment to clean floor surfaces in public or employee spaces.
  • Dust and polish surfaces in assigned areas to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Empty trash containers, ashtrays, and ash urns in public areas into proper containers.
  • Inspect furniture for tears, rips, and stains and report any damages to management.
  • Clean and maintain lights and fixtures in public areas.
  • Post caution signs to limit traffic when necessary and contact other departments directly for urgent repairs.
  • Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
  • Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
  • Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
  • Ability to move up and down a ladder.
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
