Medical Biller Position

We are seeking a skilled Medical Biller to join our Revenue Cycle Team at Meeting House Lane Medical Practice in Hampton Bays, New York. The ideal candidate will have experience with CPT and ICD10 codes, computer and EMR skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for data entry of billing information, ensuring accurate and timely submissions. This will include reviewing documentation to ensure all appropriate levels of coding is chosen and forwarded to a third party clearinghouse. Additional duties will include manual charge posting as needed for Emergency Room, Hospital and all other ancillary sites with large volume, working with A/R Department to review and/or edit denied claims, and updating patient demographic and insurance information.

Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes, computer and EMR experience, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Additionally, you should be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and have great organizational skills. Microsoft Word and Excel experience is preferred.
