Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Architecture Project Manager to lead and manage architectural projects from conception to completion at Designblendz. This role demands technical expertise, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Oversight of all project phases, including schematic design, construction documentation, bidding, and construction administration.
  • Collaboration with a team to guide them through project tasks and ensure productivity.
  • Conducting field surveys and measurements, directing junior staff for accuracy.
  • Developing design and space plans based on client requirements, offering programming expertise.
  • Serving as Construction Administrator during project construction, handling tasks such as reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and managing change orders.
  • Participation in on-site construction meetings, maintaining accurate records and addressing critical path issues.
  • Demonstration of entrepreneurial qualities that support business development efforts.
  • Organizing and directing the architectural team for orderly and timely project execution.
  • Determination of construction detailing requirements, ensuring compliance with codes and aesthetics.
  • Conducting quality assurance checks on project drawings and documents.
  • Management of project timelines and milestones, advising leadership of any deviations.
  • Overseeing junior staff career goals and development.
  • Commitment to meeting project deadlines while adapting roles strategically to achieve project goals.
  • Research to ensure code compliance and develop technical specifications.
Requirements
  • A registered architect in good standing.
  • 5+ years of experience managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture (BArch) or Bachelor of Science in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
