Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse II to provide nursing care, treatments, and medication administration to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of nursing principles and procedures, as well as experience working with older adults. This is a salaried position that offers competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
This position involves completing professional nursing assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education to residents and their families. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination. In addition, you will participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in nursing from an accredited program and be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois. Two years of progressively responsible professional nursing experience or a bachelor's degree in nursing and one year of professional nursing experience are also required. We prefer candidates with supervisory or management experience and knowledge of set up, application, and use of specialized medical equipment.

Work Environment:
This position is located at our Veterans' Home in Manteno, Illinois, and requires ability to travel occasionally. You will work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
