Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute small to medium-sized projects, including performing and/or leading field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations.
  • Develop the scope of work for routine projects, prepare cost estimates, specifications, and other project-related documents.
  • Analyze data, perform engineering calculations and analysis, and coordinate and supervise field investigations, laboratory testing, and evaluation of respective data.
  • Develop plans, schedules, conduct, and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work, and work closely with senior-level project managers to gain project management and engineering experience.
  • Make design recommendations, adaptations, and modifications, and prepare work scope, proposals, and reports and plans investigations for approval by senior-level professionals.
  • Serve as a technical adviser to junior-level project team members, supervise field staff, and interact with clients and project teams in developing scope of services and communicating project progress.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI), with the ability to obtain a registration as a Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
  • Preferred Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
