Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our Technical Innovation Center. This role focuses on the development of natural flavor products, working collaboratively with a dynamic team of Scientists, Engineers, and Flavorists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with Flavorists to pinpoint requirements and explore opportunities for natural flavors and extracts.
- Design and enhance manufacturing processes, utilizing insights from product development and consumer trends.
- Identify and troubleshoot challenges related to raw materials and processing systems.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with technical teams to support global technology initiatives.
- Gather and interpret experimental data, providing comprehensive reports and recommendations to leadership.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives within the category.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Food Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in R&D or production within the food or natural product sector.
- Proven expertise in process design and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with sensory science.
- Familiarity with flavor chemicals and laboratory techniques.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with extraction, separation, and distillation processes.
- Leadership experience in product and process development.
