Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized and specialized nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and recognized nursing techniques.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care given to patients, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-direction and initiative.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse Manager to ensure seamless patient care and efficient unit operations.
Requirements
  • Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Experience in GI endoscopy preferred, with a strong foundation in patient care and nursing techniques.
  • Membership in GI specialty or other local, state, or national professional societies encouraged.
  • Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, with ACLS certification recommended but optional.
Physical and Mental Demands

The ideal candidate will be able to work under stress, with moderate periods of sitting and computer use. Good visual acuity, ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl, and reach, grasp, use fine finger movement, and feel sensation to discern temperature, texture, size, and shape are essential. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time, lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 25 pounds.
