Job Title: MRI Technologist

Envision Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Southlake, TX. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures with precision and accuracy, ensuring the highest quality images for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface with patients to gather medical history and provide clear instructions on procedures and exams.
  • Review patient charts for missed clinical information and screen patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.
  • Obtain prior films/exams as needed and perform high-quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for review.
  • Monitor patient care before, during, and after exams, and notify the appropriate party if patient condition changes.
  • Transfer images to other locations as needed and coordinate scan protocols with Radiologists.
  • Maintain and inspect equipment regularly, reporting any quality concerns or equipment failures.
  • Interface with Lead Technologist and Center/Area Manager regarding departmental concerns.
Requirements:
  • Two plus years' experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - preferred
  • Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a problem solver with strong communication skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
  • Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
  • Current CPR certification
