Housekeeper (PRN - On-Call) Job Description

At Discovery Village Clear Lake, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our community, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents and guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain apartment homes, common areas, lounges, and offices according to a scheduled routine.
  • Sweep, dust, and mop floors, as well as clean and sanitize lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and refuse, and maintain the community laundry in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Report any needed repairs, supply, and equipment needs to the Lead Housekeeper.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and read and interpret documents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
