Job Title: Tooling Engineer

At Kavaliro, we are seeking a skilled Tooling Engineer to join our team. As a Tooling Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of tools and equipment to support our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement tools and equipment that meet manufacturing specifications and standards.
  • Investigate and resolve tooling problems in manufacturing areas, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design and fabrication cost estimates, schedules of materials and manpower.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to designers and engineers, ensuring adherence to manufacturing specifications and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in tooling and manufacturing technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our processes and products.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline, such as Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Mechanical Design.
  • Proficiency with Unigraphics NX and/or PTC Creo, as well as ERP Tools (SAP, Oracle, JDE, etc.).
  • Familiarity with machining and fabrication processes, welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, pressure testing, vibration testing, Creo 5 or latter, and NX 8.5 or latter.
