Job Title: Substitute Nurse

Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals as a Substitute Nurse at School Administrative Unit 39. As a Substitute Nurse, you will provide direct and indirect care to students in compliance with school district policies, professional standards of practice, physician orders, and individual health plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect care to students, including health supervision and maintenance of health records.
  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to ensure effective daily health supervision of all students.
  • Assure that all immunization and physicals are up to date per School district policy for admittance to school.
  • Work with and supervise Medical Assistants and delegate tasks per NH state rules and regulations.
  • Function in accordance with the NH Practice Act, Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses, and School District Policies and Procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current NH RN license.
  • Pediatric experience and school experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
