Position: Laboratory Notebook Inventory Specialist
A prominent consumer goods organization is in search of a Laboratory Notebook Inventory Specialist. The ideal candidate will oversee and uphold the inventory of laboratory notebooks within our facilities. Candidates should possess a background in inventory oversight and proficiency in Excel.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Wage: $25/hr
- Work Environment: Leading consumer goods organization (Onsite)
- Employment Type: W2, with Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Retirement Savings Plan, Paid Sick Leave
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Temporary position
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify appropriate storage locations for all notebooks.
- Oversee the flow of incoming and outgoing pallets of laboratory notebooks from external storage providers.
- Systematically organize, compile, and document various details of each laboratory notebook in our inventory.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or unusual information regarding notebooks to management.
- Prepare a comprehensive inventory of research and development notebooks.
Qualifications:
- Experience in inventory management and proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
- Capability to manage logistics and collaborate with external vendors.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
- Familiarity with laboratory operations and safety protocols is advantageous.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.
