Cruise Deck Officer

At Pacific Whale Foundation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Purser.

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the ocean through science and advocacy. Our mission is to inspire environmental stewardship and promote sustainable living practices.

We provide a thorough training program, free uniforms, health insurance, and some amazing perks. Our ideal applicant will have a high school diploma or GED, experience in food service, retail sales, or any type of customer service, and have commercial boating experience (or know they won't get seasick). This is a physically demanding job.

We offer an hourly salary of $16.20/hour, plus tips and commission, making it a competitive compensation package. As a Purser with PacWhale Eco-Adventures, you will:

• Work as a deckhand, assisting in the safe navigation and proper operations of the vessel, ensuring a safe environment for all passengers
• Prepare, display, and serve food and beverages
• Monitor and replenish supply inventories
• Monitor and reconcile your bank for saleable items
• Clean vessels
