Job Title: Registered Nurse

Shaker for ChristianaCare Direct is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Transitional Neuro Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

About the Role:

The Transitional Neuro Unit is a 6-bed step-down unit that focuses on patients who have been stepped down from the Neuro Critical Care unit. Our team provides care to patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions, including stroke, cerebral aneurysms, brain tumors, and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Current RN license
  • BSN required; commitment to obtaining a BSN within three years of hire
  • BLS Certification required
  • At least two years of RN experience working in an ICU, step-down, or progressive care unit
