Job Description

Nurse First is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist for a travel nursing job in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Travel Nurse RN to join our team in a Labor and Delivery setting. As a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team
  • Document patient information and progress in the medical record
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment
  • Experience working in a Labor and Delivery setting
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
