Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Suncap Technology Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing commercial electrical projects, with a focus on profitability, quality standards, and effective relationship building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise teams of Foremen/General Foremen and Mechanics in the execution of electrical projects and installations.
  • Bid and gain projects, coordinate production, and represent the company in project meetings with other trade contractors to avoid conflicts and ensure project scopes of work stay on schedule.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors, and other trades.
  • Lay out work, schedule personnel, coordinate tools and materials for jobs.
  • Ensure team members are following company policy and procedures.
  • Ensure installations meet project scope, NEC, and company standards for code and quality.
  • Ensure teams are following all safety rules and take appropriate action if safety hazards are identified.
  • Ensure housekeeping and clean-up at project sites is maintained.
  • Ensure teams are completing all project reports and paperwork as required.
  • Assist with project billing as requested.
  • Train, manage, and evaluate project team members.
  • Support the training and career development of helpers, mechanics, and foremen.

Requirements:

  • Have a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen.
  • Ability to maintain clean and safe work areas.
  • Have dependable transportation.
  • Have knowledge of materials and proper use and installation.
  • Demonstrated experience and success in a Project Manager role.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in multiple locations simultaneously.
  • Ability to operate smartphone technology.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Computer savvy, comfortable with Microsoft Office Programs, Outlook, and Bidding/Estimating Software.
