Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as a Full-Time BCBA. The successful candidate will work with students with disabilities and challenging behaviors in a school setting.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, from January 6th to the end of the school year. The salary range for this role is $43+/hour, paid weekly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors exhibited by students.
  • Develop Individualized Plans: Create personalized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on FBA findings, utilizing evidence-based strategies and techniques.
  • Provide Training and Support: Offer training and guidance to staff members on effective BIP implementation, ensuring consistent and appropriate interventions.
  • Evaluate Plan Effectiveness: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of BIPs by collecting and analyzing data on student behavior.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with school personnel, parents, and community agencies to ensure students' unique needs are met and interventions are consistent across environments.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing valuable input on goal development related to behavior management.
Requirements
  • BCBA Certification: Hold a valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Advanced Degree: Possess a Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, or Psychology.
  • Experience Working with Students: Demonstrate previous experience working with students with disabilities and challenging behaviors in a school setting.
  • Strong Organizational and Communication Skills: Exhibit exceptional organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Special Education Laws: Display a strong understanding of federal and state laws pertaining to special education and behavior management in schools.
