Job Description:

This Behavioral Therapist Specialist position plays a vital role in implementing our positive behavior support program in schools. You will work collaboratively with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to create personalized plans that promote academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and providing coaching to teachers and staff.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to inform instruction and drive student progress.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement school-wide positive behavior support systems.
  • Providing crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to support students in need.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Possess a valid RBT certification or be willing to obtain one within six months of hire.
  • Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, or other special needs.
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and positive behavior support strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
