As a Certified Surgical Technician at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in our operating rooms. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest level of care, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, providing support and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, supplies, and medications, ensuring they are readily available and functioning properly.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of OR Technician training program.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • OR Technician certification required.
  • One year of scrub experience preferred.
