About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Assist in transferring and positioning patients in the operating room, demonstrating a high level of compassion and care.
  • Anticipate and provide the necessary instruments and supplies for surgeons during procedures, showcasing your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
  • Participate in the delivery of OR care, working collaboratively with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of OR Technician training
  • BLS certification
  • One year of scrub experience
