Job Overview

This position is responsible for providing patient assessment, psychological testing, and treatment for individuals of all ages. You will offer individual, couples, family, and group therapy, as well as education for patients, communities, and students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer various types of psychotherapy to patients and make independent decisions on treatment plans.
  • Administer psychological testing and assessments for patients.
  • Document testing reports, treatment plans, and progress notes efficiently.
  • Participate in training students and residents in the field.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and refer patients to other services when needed.
  • Contribute to the development of psychological services and community outreach programs.

Requirements

  • Must have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD).
  • At least 1 year of post-doctoral experience in a medical setting.

Required Certifications

South Carolina License to Practice Clinical Psychology (Lawson Code LLCP)

Alternative Requirements

A PsyD or EdD with licensure can be considered in place of a PhD.

Existing team members are exempt from new requirements but must be certification-eligible.
