About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Sam's Club team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, cloud-based software solutions that meet the needs of our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and design.
  • Work with the team to identify and resolve technical issues and improve overall system performance.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing and deployment scripts to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of software solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development and cloud computing.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, and Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Experience with cloud application development, including scalable, data-driven, and message-oriented architecture.
  • Experience designing and developing microservices-based software solutions.
  • Experience working with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment scripts.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including Agile methodologies and version control practices.
