Your role is integral to the overall guest experience, as you contribute to creating memorable moments and ensuring guest satisfaction. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a customer-centric mindset are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete opening duties, including checking quality and quantity of banquet stock and equipment, setting tables according to service standards, and ensuring a sufficient supply of flatware, glassware, and china for service.
- Serve food and beverage orders as needed, retrieve alcoholic beverage orders from the bar, and serve to guests in accordance with regulations.
- Open wine and champagne bottles, make coffee, tea, and beverages, and perform food courses, meal, breaks, and beverage service in a timely and efficient manner.
- Bus and remove food, beverage, and soiled wares from the event space, transport to the designated break-down area, and dispose of food, boxes, trash, props, and guest items during and after events.
- Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned stations and service areas.
- Adhere to local liquor laws and fire regulations, and communicate with and support all staff to better serve guests.
