Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as an Elementary School Teacher. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students and helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of individual students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in education and incorporate new ideas and strategies into your teaching practice

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Appropriate state teaching certification
  • Minimum of two years of teaching experience
  • Subject matter expertise
  • Collaborative attitude towards teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Record of exceptional student achievement and results at a high-performing charter network/charter management organization
  • Belief that all students deserve a world-class education which can be achieved through education reform

Compensation

KIPP NJ offers competitive salaries to newly hired lead teachers. Salaries are based on prior experience and in accordance with certification requirements. KIPP NJ offers a competitive salary range of $65,000-$103,000+ for teacher positions with additional opportunities for earning up to $7,000 annually in performance-based pay.
