Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics Systems Specialist to join our team at StandardAero. As an Avionics Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of avionics systems on Gulfstream aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies using hand tools and soldering irons.
  • Assemble components such as switches, electrical controls, and junction boxes using hand tools and soldering irons.
  • Connect components to assemblies such as radio systems, instruments, inverters, using hand tools and soldering irons.
  • Install electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems in aircraft.
  • Interpret flight test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance problems.
  • Lay out the installation of aircraft assemblies and systems, following documentation, blueprints, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
  • Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters.
  • Assemble prototypes or models of circuits, instruments, and systems for testing.
  • Maintain records of maintenance and repair work.
  • Set up and operate ground support and test equipment to perform functional flight tests of electrical and electronic systems.
Requirements
  • Gulfstream aircraft avionics or corporate jet avionics experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of avionics systems and electrical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
