Aircraft Maintenance Control Manager

Job Summary:

The Aircraft Maintenance Control Manager is responsible for providing daily oversight of all functional and operational activities of Maintenance Control. This includes monitoring the duties and responsibilities of Maintenance Control Clerks and Aircraft Issuers/Dispatchers classification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and maintains a maintenance system inspection schedule and assists in assigning work priorities to maintenance actions.
  • Schedules all maintenance actions, including daily flight schedule, 140-day corrosion inspections, and 28-day aircraft washes.
  • Oversees the Configuration Management Program and authorizes cannibalization process.
  • Responsible for adhering to all applicable Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules and regulations.
  • Tracks cannibalization and maintains liaison with Supply.
  • Screens maintenance actions for post maintenance check flights requirements.
  • Prepares aircraft readiness reports and monitors high time component tracking program.
  • Monitors aircraft issuing/scheduling to ensure daily schedule completion.
  • Verifies completion of required maintenance by checking applicable maintenance forms.
  • Releases aircraft or returns aircraft for completion of maintenance.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience with five (5) years management experience in direct aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modification.
