**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Supervise Flight Training Activities**: Oversee and monitor flight training activities to ensure compliance with FARs and company policies.
  • **Flight Instructor Performance**: Evaluate and provide feedback to flight instructors on their performance and adherence to company standards.
  • **Curriculum Development**: Assist in the development and improvement of flight training curriculum to ensure it meets industry standards.
  • **Stage Checks and Evaluations**: Perform stage checks, end-of-course tests, and flight instructor proficiency checks to ensure instructors meet company standards.
  • **Student Supervision**: Supervise students' use of equipment, including simulators and aircraft, and evaluate their performance.
  • **Lectures and Discussions**: Present lectures and conduct discussions to increase students' knowledge and understanding of aviation concepts.
  • **Recruitment and Interviews**: Participate in the recruitment and interview process for prospective flight instructors and students.
  • **Training Records**: Monitor and maintain accurate training records for students and instructors.

**Requirements:**

  • **Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Airplane rating**
  • **FAA Flight Instructor Certificate with Airplane Multiengine rating and Instrument Airplane rating**
  • **FAA Medical Certificate First Class or Second Class**

**Work Schedule:** Normal schedule is Saturday to Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Requires in-air travel during flight training, limited to same-day travel within 100 miles of Mankato, Minnesota.
