Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Loves Travel Stops & Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues on diesel engines, as well as providing preventative maintenance services to our customers.

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on diesel engines, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services, including fueling, tire changes, and other basic repairs.
• Provide preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and drivers from all over the country.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
