Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues with diesel engines, as well as providing preventative maintenance services to our customers.

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues with diesel engines, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services, including fueling and tire changes
• Provide preventative maintenance services, including oil changes and tire rotations
• Work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and drivers from all over
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in various temperatures
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Loves)
