Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Grooming Technician to join our team at Tractor Supply Company. As a Grooming Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pet grooming services to our customers, ensuring their pets receive the highest level of care and attention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and efficient pet grooming services, including bathing, drying, brushing, and trimming.
  • Handle and care for animals of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Assist with customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest grooming techniques and best practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completed Level 1 Paragon Training and certification through Petsense.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels. You will be exposed to sharp grooming instruments, perfumed shampoos and soaps, pets, and pet waste. You must be able to stand and move for extended periods, with occasional bending, kneeling, and squatting.
