KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose, maintain, repair, and enhance automotive manufacturing machinery.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical manufacturing Associate Degree with two (2) years of experience in automation/PLC controls and industrial maintenance, mechanical, electronic systems & PC controls OR a High school diploma/GED with two (2) years of technical maintenance experience plus two (2) years in automation/PLC controls with industrial maintenance, mechanical, electronic systems & PC controls totaling four (4) years of experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Must be flexible and open to changes and adjustments.
  • Willingness to work additional hours and holidays as needed.
  • Candidates must successfully complete a computer-based technical knowledge assessment and an electrical troubleshooting examination involving live current.
  • Must reside within a specified radius of the plant.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Expertise in maintaining and diagnosing closed-loop servo systems.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting sequential processes.
  • Familiarity with advanced programming languages.
  • Background in controls, procedures, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of Human/Machine interface tools and related software.
  • Experience in maintaining, setting up, and diagnosing AC variable frequency drives.
  • Experience with three-phase power, pneumatic controls, or Siemens PLC S7 is highly desirable.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work typically conducted in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or workshop environment involving physical tasks such as sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to all relevant safety protocols.

WORKING SCHEDULE:

  • Location: Greer, South Carolina
  • Schedule: Day or Night Shift
