Job Summary:

The Clinical Support Specialist plays a vital role in facilitating patient care in a primary care or specialist office. Key responsibilities include scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and ensuring patient confidentiality and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient care tasks as assigned, including identifying self to patients/family and explaining the roles of each member of the care delivery team.
  • Carry out administrative duties, such as sending/receiving patient medical records and abstracting new patient records into EPIC.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to department protocol for setting up instruments and equipment.
  • Assist with patient autonomy, confidentiality, and dignity, as well as perform chaperone duties for patient medical procedures as needed.
