Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer I to join our team at Logistic Services Int. as a key member of our design and development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, as well as executing projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop mechanical systems, including mechanical components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
  • Project Execution: Execute projects from conception to completion, including project planning, coordination, and management.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, design, and development.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Knowledge of ASME Y1 & Y1 drawings, Product Data Management (PDM), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Strong understanding of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, and fabrication and assembly processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, design, and development.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Microsoft Project and industry-specific software.
